On Saturday, October 7, from 10:00 to 3:00, the Heritage Center in Harleysville will the having its 44th Annual Apple Butter (Frolic). The autumn festival is a wonderful way to usher in the fall season by sampling many apple products. It is also an opportunity to learn how Mennonites and their neighbors lived 100 years ago, and it’s great fun for young and old alike. There will be crafts of all type on display and Apple Butter, pies, and other products to buy, the museum is also open for you to visit. The cost to take part in this is a $5.00 fee.

On Saturday, September 30th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., we will me meeting at the Church to share a soup supper, with bread & butter. After supper, we will be enjoying one anothers company while playing CANGO, other board games and LEGOS for the children. Come join us for the fun and bring a friend. There is a sign-up sheet in the kitchen for those making the delicious soups.
Saturday, September 23rd, 10:00 a.m. thru Sunday, September 24th at 2:00 p.m., the teens and leaders from Crossroads Community Center will be joining other young people for a camp out to take in all the wonders of God’s creation.
There will be a scavenger hunt and other activities built on God’s Word. We will close out Saturday night with a campfire and hayride. We will provide provide drinks and hot dogs to roast over the campfire after the hayride. This is open to all. Invite your friends and dress according to the weather.
The campers will stay over-night, camping in tents from Saturday to Sunday, when they will attend the worship service and finish off with a cook-out lunch before a time of reflection and dismissal.
NOTE: For those who do not want to camp out, you are still invited to join in with the hayride and campfire, so please come out and join us, invite friends, and remember to dress for the weather. It will be a fun night for all.

On September 17, from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. the men from the Whosoever Gospel Mission in the Germantown will be coming to Church Of The Good Samaritans to spend the day with us. Upon their arriving, there will be time for volleyball, horseshoes and other outdoor activities.
Some may want to just relax while a dinner is set out for them. We will be hosting a delicious dinner and an ample variety of desserts to follow dinner. After breaking bread together, we will move to the sanctuary for a time of music and singing praise to God. With the testimonies and sharing that will soon follow, and the Word to be preached by Pastor Bob, it will be an exciting time of worship and lifting up the Lord.
